The pressure to excel academically, anxiety of moving away from home, the demands of coursework and deadlines, and the challenges of balancing academic responsibilities with social and personal life can all contribute to heightened anxiety.
Do you find yourself constantly worrying, waking up in the middle of the night, have difficulty focusing in classes or in conversations with friends, and not enjoying what you thought would be a great experience?
You want to enjoy this educational and social journey, but the stress of unfamiliar surroundings, higher academic rigor, and challenges of making new social connections leave you feeling exhausted and disconnected with yourself and others.

You have worked hard to get into a school but with this excitement can also come so much anxiety related to change. Having to move away from home, make new friends, navigate harder courses, balancing classes and a job… it can all feel like A LOT!
Greek Life
Joining a soroirty can be a great and positive social experience. You can make life-long freinds and memories, but it can also bring up insecurities, social anxiety, and feelings of overwhelm as you add more to your plate.
Graduation Anxiety
Graduation is the day you are working towards…but what does life look like next!? The anticipation of what “the real world” looks like can start to creep up and feel intimating, scary, and worrisome. Maybe you are worrying about leaving your friends, having to find a career path, or moving back home. Whatever it may be, therapy can be a great place to process this transition in your life.
Therapy provides a safe and supportive space for college and graduate students to explore and address their anxiety or stress. Through therapy, I will support you to learn effective coping strategies, increase your confidence in navigating new social experiences, develop resilience, and enhance self-care practices. I will offer a safe space to discuss any stressors or challenges you might be experiencing. By working collaboratively with me, you can gain tools to manage anxiety and enjoy your school experience to the fullest.
